Wayne:

That is a good question: but because this blog is read on the internet I would have to list every address and the address for New York would not be good for Alabama or any other state.

It is a criminal offence to wear medals not earned under Section 419 of the Criminal Code of Canada. But a Summary conviction... meaning only a fine, NO jail time.
In the U.K. the Next of Kin can wear the medals of a deceased father, brother, sister etc on Remembrance Day only. It is known as parading the medals and MUST be worn on the RIGHT side of the jacket....

I hope that clarifies any confusion

I served with Lrsd from 99 to 2000 and never even heard of the citation and would like to know I am I authorized to wear the citation because some of the soldiers that served from that same time frame are wearing them and something about it was authorized in 1999.

The Korean War Veterans Association believes that when the Korean War veterans Memorial was dedicated in 1992in Washington DC the President of South Korea was handing this citation ribbon to all "korean veterans" present. There-fore they feel they are authorized to wear it. One chapter #299 KVA has a color guard that wear them ,one of the members of it is an associate member never served in Korea. The others served on the DMZ. The officers and directors of the Korean War Veterans Association condone this. Which it is a disgrace to all of us who earned it.
The real Korean War Veterans.

Gale Wursthorn:

What is troubling to me now, is that the Viet Nam veterans feel that they are not being serviced by the U S Government as well as other veterans enrolled in VA programs. Hopefully, the VSOs are taking a close look to make sure that Viet Nam and all veterans get the best service the VA can provide.

The veterans of Korea and Viet Nam, those who came and home and those who didn't, were'nt welcomed with parades and "thank you for your serve" handshakes. Many were told they were unwelcome at VFW'a and American Legion posts. The
